Organized by the Association of Culture and Education through Audiovisual, the 12th edition of the Agadir International Documentary Film Festival (FIDADOC) will take place online from December 14 to 19, 2020, with the support of the Ministry of Communication and the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM), civil society of multimedia authors, the French Institute of Morocco (IFM) and International Media Support.
The official selection for this 12th edition is made up of 12 films, 8 feature films and 4 short films representing 16 countries of production. True to its motto “ Cinema everywhere.
Faithful to its mission of highlighting emerging creation, the only competitive section of this unprecedented edition of FIDADOC brings together 4 short films from 4 countries (Congo DRC, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia) which reveal the mastery and taste for risk young filmmakers, explains the organizers who hope to welcome them very soon to Agadir with their next films.The four short films are ”Clebs” – De Halima Ouardiri (2019), “The Companions of the Cave” – De Fakhri El Ghezal (2019), “Night standing“ – By Nelson Makongo (2019) and finally “Searching for Ghazala” – De Bassam Mortada (2019).
